In Aussie drinking culture, a shout isn’t yelling—it’s buying a round. It’s basically an unspoken contract of friendship: you get this one, someone else gets the next. A person who dodges their shout is instantly sus and might get branded a bludger. It keeps the drinks flowing, the vibes high, and the group united. If someone says “your shout,” they’re either reminding you politely or calling you out loudly.

“Their macro is way better than ours.”

The waiting room of destiny where players age emotionally while matchmaking tries its best.

“Queue times are wild today.”

When you team up with friends instead of trusting random players who breathe chaos. Usually boosts your chance of winning—or arguing.

“We need a full stack for comp.”

The invisible area that decides whether an attack lands or whiffs. Some characters have blessed hitboxes; others feel like throwing noodles.

“His hitbox is broken, I swear.”

The unholy act of waiting at enemy spawn points to farm kills. Cheap, rude, extremely effective.

“Stop spawncamping, bro.”

Short for “easy,” used by toxic players after a win to assert dominance and spark global irritation.

“GG ez.”

Away from keyboard. Translation: player currently useless. Often followed by team complaints.

“Hold on, pizza’s here—afk.”

When someone gets destroyed so thoroughly that even the kill cam feels disrespectful.

“You got rekt, no cap.”

When frustration peaks and you leave the game instantly without saying goodbye. A dramatic exit worthy of an Oscar.

“He ragequit after one death.”

Where your character appears (or reappears) after death. Sometimes safe, sometimes a death sentence depending on enemy campers.
